Just Peeking.

I really enjoy Couples Sessions, they're fun and chellenging all at the same time. When you have a couple who are so comfortable with you and the camera...(and of course with each other!) it's almost like magic.
Here, my clients are having a great time and finally found a way to forget that I was their. I really love what I do, it makes me feel like I have truly created a work of art by the end of the day.

PS...I can always tell which couples are going to make it and which couples aren't. Enjoy -Michael

In this photograph Loren is having a great time. She helped make this session a memorable one with her awesome attitude and her desire to have unique Seniors Pictures.
We definitely accomplished total uniqueness during this Senior Session.

We have these train tracks that run through our little town, and I have found a way to include them in so many of my shoots. This particular day we used the actual train cars as our props. We had a lot of fun that day and had many great shots to show for it. This is also a You vs. The Best Hall of Fame Winner!

Today Has Been Rough

I'm not even sure where to begin, let's see. Life is full a toil and
heartache. Do you ever get that feeling you want to just get rid of
all the stuff in your life that seems to make it more complicated? Today
has been one of those days. Not really one situation in particular,
but a handful or two of items and decisions deriving from one
circumstance... photography, how can something you love and feel so passionate about be such a
burden on your life. I mean burden in the sense... for example :
photography. I love photography, but you must be willing to change
with the all the technological advances we see in this day and age.
eg.(photoshop, mac or pc (I have chosen Mac), Canon or Nikon, website,
blog, advertising...ect)

These and many more questions have been on my mind lately...and I have
found myself asking "is it worth it ?"
Hmmmm...good question. I say YES!!

If you love something or someone with such passion, you find yourself
changing and adapting for the better. Well, as long as that something
or someone loves you also. If photography didn't love me, I probably
wouldn't be doing this at all.

Ok, now that I have that off my chest I'm ready to go back to work, I
have a wedding to edit. By for now.

That's A Strange Camera?!?

Well, it's not my camera, it's me at my Monday-Friday gig. The Body
Shop...yeah, I know, it is a far cry from photography but someones
gotta do it.

I actually help run my Dad's body shop. When you grow up in a business
it's kind of hard getting out of sometimes. So, I have devoted
weekends and evenings to my passion...(my wife, my children, and my
iPhone, oh... I mean my photography) I do love my iPhone, but... I
guess I will just play with that while at my day job.

PS.. This post was made with, yeah, you guessed it... My iPhone. Don't
you love it? I do.

This is my son Chase, he is one of the lights of my life. This is on Thanksgiving at my sister's house. I know it looks like he's getting ready to take a bite of that leaf, he wasn't...he's just posing : ) Anytime the camera is out all 3 kids just start posing.

So here's to the New Year!
