Lovin' Light & Color
Color and lighting can make or break your photograph...in this case we
made it work.
The red draws your eyes into the main subject without having to
compete with any other colors. Meanwhile the lighting is coming in at
the right angle as to add texture to the image giving it a 3
deminsional look.
These rules are just a couple of the ones in "Composition".

Converse Bride
I'm at a wedding right now, waiting for the bride to arrive. So I
thought I would take a couple of minutes to post a new blog.
thought I would take a couple of minutes to post a new blog.
This is from a wedding I did last year of a very good friend of mine.
This wedding was a blast, and the bride's shoes were a hit. She
ordered them direct from Converse, with her new name stitched on the
sides, and made in her wedding colors.
Just a neat little idea!

Socks & Shoes
Call me strange, but I rarely wear normal socks (white) & shoes (???).
All my socks have personality and all my Converse do to. A lot like me
I guess.

Anyhow, just a reminder to bring your personality with to your
photoshoots. We'll call it BYOP, I'll bring mine and you bring yours!!

Thrift Stores
I love thrift stores, you can find so many crazy things their. The
kind of stuff that's great for photoshoots! Ties, scarves, jackets,
shoes, furniture...you name it, they've got it. So, happy shopping!

Shadows
Your shadow walks faster than you
You don’t really know what to do
Do you think that you’re not alone?
You really think that you’re immune to it
It’s going to get the best of you
It’s going to lift you up then let you down
Jack Johnson- Hope

Simplicity
Not much else to say here, I will keep it simple. I really love this
shot, I guess the angle a simplicity is what I like about this one.
Sometimes keeping it simple is really best.

Brown Eyed Girl
My daughter Kelsee, she is growing up way too fast. She will be 13
this year, and she has already shown huge interest and skill in the
photography world. Here she is showing off some of those modeling
skills she learned from years of practice being my model while I went
to school and beyond.
She is starting 7th grade next year, and has enrolled with hopes of
being on the school newspaper. Stay tuned for some of her work.
